Welcome to Pier 360, which was formerly CVAB.

About Us...
Pier 360 was founded as Consumer Voices Are Born (CVAB) in 1995 in Vancouver, WA, as a Peer-Run organization. A Peer-Run organization is led by individuals who have their own lived experiences with mental health or psychiatric diagnoses, addiction, dependence, or substance use, trauma, and, most importantly, recovery. The majority of the Pier 360 Board of Directors, staff, participants, and volunteers are in recovery, with many of them in dual recovery.

What makes our organization truly unique is that we didn't learn about mental health and substance use recovery from a textbook, but instead through our own personal experiences. As participants, volunteers, and employees of Pier 360, we strive to use mutuality, the shared components of our story, to connect with others. We aim to empower, support, and inspire people toward their own lives of wellness and recovery.

Pier 360 is a community of people supporting diverse pathways to recovery using a strength-based and trauma-informed process over prescribed outcomes, so each person is empowered to achieve their best possible life.

Pier 360 is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization operating across Washington State.
