We believe that work is a vital component of recovery and we recognize it can be difficult to transition back into the workforce after mental health or substance use challenges. The Employment Team specializes in supporting participants in their vocational and academic goals. For Employers

Employers who hire individuals who have faced significant barriers to employment have tax credits and fidelity bonds available to them.

  • The Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) is a federal tax credit available to employers for hiring and employing individuals from certain targeted groups who have faced significant barriers to employment. Learn more about the WOTC and what it means for workers and employers at https://www.dol.gov/agencies/eta/wotc

  • The Federal Bonding Program (FBP) was established in 1966 to provide Fidelity Bonds for “at-risk,” hard-to-place job seekers. The bonds cover the first six months of employment at no cost to the job applicant or the employer. Gain access to tools to help employers integrate FBP by calling 1-877-US2-JOBS or visit the Bonds4Jobs website at: https://bonds4jobs.com/resources
