At Pier 360, Winter Wellness is about supporting one another through the darker season—through movement, creativity, laughter, shared stories, and adventures that spark a sense of possibility.


This December, we’re offering activities that bring warmth to the cold months, community to the quiet days, and gentle encouragement for anyone navigating this time of year. Whether you’re looking for connection, grounding, or simply something fun to look forward to, we can’t wait to welcome you in.

Outdoor Adventures for Body & Mind


Hike to Hardy Falls & Pool of the Winds

Monday, December 8th

Meet at Hamilton Mountain Trailhead parking lot across from Beacon Rock

Join us for an enriching outdoor experience that blends movement, mindfulness, and exploration. With towering evergreens and sweeping views, this hike is a chance to breathe deeply, reconnect with nature, and find clarity in the quiet beauty of winter.


Indoor Rock Climbing at The Source

Portland Winterhawks Hockey Game

Sunday, December 14th Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum

Join us for the beloved Teddy Bear Toss game—where thousands of plush animals are thrown onto the ice for local kids in need. This outing has limited spots, so sign up early! It’s a great opportunity to experience excitement, generosity, and community spirit all at once.


Dungeons & Dragons Night

West Center

Create, imagine, and explore new worlds together. Whether you're building your character or joining a campaign, D&D Night is a welcoming space for creativity, teamwork, and storytelling.

Speaker Meeting

Gather for shared stories, compassion, and inspiration from peers walking their own recovery journeys.


A Gentle Note on Winter Wellness


Winter can be a challenging time—emotionally, physically, and mentally. We honor that each person’s experience is unique. If your energy is low, if the long nights feel heavy, or if this season stirs up old memories, you’re not alone. Every event this month is designed to be welcoming, low-pressure, and supportive.


Together, we can find warmth in community, strength through connection, and moments of joy throughout the winter season.

To ensure space for everyone, please register in person at either center for all outings.

Transportation is provided from Pier 360 West and will return to Pier 360 West only.
